As we grow in age, health becomes a priority in many of our lives. Health is a daily thought, it is almost in every conversation and it is the driving force behind the new and innovative research that we are witnessing. With the economy in a state of flex, the indecisiveness of health-care, and defaulting health insurance, we must take our health in our own hands. Even though our ancestors were plagued with many of today's dis-eases, they were able to live long, fruitful lives because they ate healthy, exercised (walking, running, farm work, etc), and consumed herbal supplements on a daily basis, increasing longevity and productivity. Their foods was not laced with poisons, hormones, additives, or artificial substances that broke down their cellular structure. In many cases they where able to heal from their illnesses. For instance in my research on diabetes for my book "Sweet Mysteries of Life a Handbook for Preventing and Healing Diabetes" (to be published November 2010), I found that the Egyptians used beer, bloom flower and water from the bird pond to address diabetes. They had great success with their formulations. I would not recommend this formulation, however, it does show what nature can do to increase the body's ability to heal.
